Remove yourself from Orbit
Last updated October 10, 2026
Orbit helps people keep track of the people they know. If someone has you in their Orbit and you'd rather they didn't, you can ask Orbit to remove you. You don't need an Orbit account.
What happens
- Anyone who has your email or number in Orbit stops seeing you there: lists, search, the map, shared Orbits and counts.
- Orbit stops looking you up and never adds you again from anyone's imports.
- We never tell you who had you, and we never tell them you asked. We keep only a scrambled fingerprint of your email or number so we can keep you out.
- A note someone wrote for themselves stays theirs, but you no longer show up in Orbit for them.
Remove me
Enter your email or phone number. We'll send a code there to check it's yours. That code is the only message we send. Have more than one email or number? Remove each one.
Have an Orbit account?
This removes you from other people's Orbits. To delete your own account and data, use Settings in the Orbit app, or email privacy@orbitmy.co.
